I don't usually get too excited over games. There's nothing coming out in march that really strikes my fancy.

What I do look forward to is getting all my damned scholarship applications finished and sent. You'd think that it would be a relief to be in the final stretch of high school, but you're too busy making sure you don't have to prostitute your way through college because neither you nor your parents have the money to spare.

But Command & Conquer 4 looks like it'll worth a play. Oh, and Alice in Wonderland. God, everything Johnny Depp touches turns to gold, and I can't help from contributing to it.

Hmm, what esactly is "March Madness" we dont get that here, i assumed it was a time in the year you all caught something that made you go batshit insane, similar to the Vomiting Flu in Winter.
It's when all the big US college basketball teams compete against one another. It's sort of a big deal over here. One of the annual things is to fill out a bracket and try to guess who'll win against whom.

As for me, it's FFXIII. It better be worth the buildup.

I'm gonna finally play Road to Ruin from Gears of War 2 after taking such a long time in beating Fable 2.

I'm looking forward to going even crazier than normal. It's practically part of my job description!

Damnit, they should have a holiday dedicated to me..

March Madness is...me.

And I heard it's something to do with the ending of the fiscal year. Everyone realises that their budget is about to be re-issued, and anything they haven't spent will not be there to spend soon, so they go craaaazy trying to get the most of it before then.

Ah, it's occured to me that I hadn't told what I was looking forward to. Wells, of course for movies there's Alice in Wonderland, Brooklyn's Finest, The Green Zone, and The Bounty Hunter.

For video games, of course: FFXIII, Bad Company 2, Yakuza 3, Command & Conquer 4, God of War 3, Red Steel 2, and Just Cause 2.

I have to say as amazing as MLB 10 looks, graphics wise... it's still baseball and I mean... well, it's baseball. In Canada, or at least the Canada I know and love, we don't really like baseball as much as Americans do. And for good reason. It's baseball. But that's my opinion.

And besides, the quality of graphics in FFXIII alone makes up for however good MLB 10 ever can be. Not to mention Bad Company 2, Red Steel 2, and God of War 3.

Also, happy (eventual) birthday to Johnny Molotov, Pro Insanity, zala-taichou.

March. Day. I mean, its not like there are any alternate names for this day.

Oh wait [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_David%27s_Day].

...how come people always remember St. Patrick's day, but not St. David's?

Well, my birthday is today. There aren't any games that I want right now, but I did order (at my mom's expense) some books on Amazon.com (The Divine Comedy, La Vita Nouva, Mass Effect: Revelation, and Mass Effect: Ascension).

I'm thinking about buying myself some stuff on Amazon.com, like a microSDHC reader/writer and other things until I get a total of $25 for super savings.
Any suggestions? The microSDHC reader is $4.99, so I need $21.

I checked all the calendars in my house, and only two of them have something on the first of March. One has Labour Day, for Australia. The other was from Nintendo Power and it says that Star Fox came out on March first for SNES in 1993. So if you want St. David's Day to be better known, tell it to the calendar companies.

B-day wednesday, but I am more excited for BBC2, because I never really celebrate anyway. Squad gameplay's going to be awesome, especially because all the people who buy in the first week will most likely have mics.

I am looking forwards to the movie "Diary of a Wimpy Kid".
I read most of the books and would like to see how they put it on the big screen.

I'm looking forward to finally getting to play AC2 for I am a (somewhat) humble PC gamer and I have been forced to wait.

Although I hope my interblag connection doesn't do anything silly...

Some of the movies coming out this month are looking good. Green Zone with Matt Damon for instance.

I suppose my question is really does the same calendar have St. Patrick's and St. George's day on it?
