While I don't think it's the best decision that Flying Wild Hog (the developers behind the game) could have made, PC gamers need something big that shows that they're not completely forgotten by every video game company besides Blizzard, Valve, and the hundreds of indie developers.

I'm sure you've already heard about this. But I thought it was worth posting anyway. Why? Because it looks awesome and all I've seen is a trailer!

Why don't we get PC exclusives more often? It is the superior system in every concievable way, maybe this game wont be bogged down by having to cater to the console tards.
I hadn't heard too much on this game. That trailer looks pretty damn cool... certainly something to look forward to. It being PC exclusive is great news as well (games that are ported from PC to console are generally a much higher quality than console to PC ports). The PC is, objectively speaking, the simply superior platform for games. It outpaces consoles in literally every conceivable field (that doesn't mean I don't like my PS3 though).

How have developers "forgotten" about the PC gaming market? Virtually every big AAA title is ported on PC, or comes onto PC eventually. PC might not get many big EXCLUSIVE AAA titles anymore, but if you were to take the sum of all the indie developers, then it is very probable exclusives on PC would vastly outweigh all three current consoles combined. The PC gaming market is bigger than it ever has been with the advent and rise of digital distribution as well. Valve is fucking swimming in money because of Steam.

So, good sir, I want to you better explain why PC gaming needs something "big" to remind people why it hasn't been forgotten, because from my vantage point, PC gaming is alive and kicking.

That's what I was trying to get at. The PC gaming market has grown significantly and people still complain that it's "Dying" or is being forgotten. I guess I was just really bad at my "I'm obviously being sarcastic!" type of execution.
