Poll: Have you ever finished Super Mario Bros without warp zone?

I beat SMB without warping in an arcade on a coin op machine.

SMB3 was also the first game I bought the very first day it was available. Saved up for a good long time and picked it up as soon as it hit the shelves. Beat it the first night, but continued playing it every day for weeks. No whistles warps or cheats.

SMB2 took me and my friends much longer. This was back when you rented a game from a dirty little store and had to bring it back the very next day (Blockbuster wasn't a thing yet). So that one took about 3 rentals, give or take.

I've never even finished Super Mario Bros. I think I got to the 4th castle.
My dad and my little brother were always better at that game then I was.
We also had a house rule that you couldn't warp to a level you couldn't get to without the warp.

I've never beaten a 2D Mario at all, not from the original NES up to the WiiU release. In fact, I've probably never made it past World 3 in any of them, regardless of whether it allows saving or not. Just haven't felt the urge or the duty.
