Poll: Have you ever got spam e-mail?

We've all heard stories of e-mail spam, but I rarely get any, if at all. Maybe it's because I haven't signed up to much online, or if it's because security software is better than spam e-mail or what, but the worst I ever get is invitations from people I've never heard of on MSN, and I'm not sure if that even counts.

But over to you. Have you ever got spam? If so, was it laughably obvious or made of impossibly bad grammar?

My spam's usually:


"Forward this to 10 people our your balls will drop off"

or "X Person has poked you on Facebook"



Then the occasional one from Steam..

Usually everyday. And i dont really now why. But i dont check them, delete them as soon as i get them.

I set up an e-mail just for receiving spam, I use it to sign up for anything that I don't want to hear back from.
Currently has 18016 emails in the in box

Theres a social community called one.lt in our country,which was mad popular back in 2004-2008.They also provided an email,so mine was crazyboyxxx and i got tons of spam mail saying "You want to enlarge your penis?"And the inbox is so full right now,theres like 1000 spam messages there,thank god i dont use it.

i have one account for spam e-mails
the worst thing is when spam is put into the inbox ,because it has nice pelling and the what not
or it say hi from jane at the front or for what ever reason ,and my email and sign up verification are sent into the spam folder.
IT FUCKING PISSES ME OFF!!!
that why i made a new account ,for friends and the like.

I've got a different email that I use to sign up for any site that looks like they would sign me up for spam. I'm sure it's probably filling up, but I never check it.

I get about 6 a day in my gmail spam box... I don't usually check it... unless I'm missing an expected email.

I have a hotmail account that I've kept continuously going since 1998 just for the purpose of satisfying all those sites that insist you cough up an email. Works well, the spam email gets gobs and gobs, my proper email stays clean. I haven't even used any of the builtin filtering that Microsoft offers, so it gets all sorts of fun spam.

Heres the contents of one

Got that one yesterday from the lovely Melle Goetz. I should send her a thank you note for suggesting the male enhancement drugs.

Most spam looks something like that. And most of it revolves around the penis as well.

I've gotten several from "a very impotant nigerran busness men," offering me several trillion dollars. As long as I send him my bank credentials first.

Spam is so entertaining, it's a shame that gmail often filters it out.

I used to gets tons, over 100 per day. Now it's down to a few e-mails a week and I am very grateful.
