Yes, it's fun in some weird way.

Especially let's play commentary.

Sometimes. Only if I want to know more about how the film, I've only watched the commentaries for a couple of the LOTR films and Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy.

I usually listen to commentary, because if I pay for the movie, I want to get my money's worth out of it. There is also usually some interesting insight into the creation of the movie, which opens up different ways to watch it again, keeping what the director says in mind.

It's funny, because one of my jobs is actually doing commentary, but for wrestling, which is a little different. Well, a lot different.

Only once. I don't get why its such a big deal when commentary's on a dvd.

I only watched the commentary for Clerks II and that was pretty funny but all others are just kinda boring.

I don't want to listen to commentary for King Kong for 3 hours...

Tried it a couple of times. Don't think I've ever finished watching anything with commentary though.

I have listened to the Dev. commentary on TF2, if that counts.
I listened to that, mainly out of boredom because I was getting sick of the game for a period of time. But I got over it.

topic says it all...
i usually listen to it on futurama DVDs.
In Valve games it's the first thing I do. You learn a huge amount of interesting if useless crap from playing through them. films and tv not so much, occasionally the Futurama ones.

Sometimes, though if at all possible I prefer to go for the commentary in subtitles. That way the sound of the film or show isn't interrupted. However, I rarely bother with it, but have done occasionally and sometimes it can be quite interesting. On that note, who else enjoys watching the 'behind the scenes' featurettes on DVDs as much as the film itself? I know I do sometimes... :D.

It all depends on the show. I've watched the commentary for Family Guy, American Dad, South Park, Coverfield, Dark Knight, Drawn Together, Star Trek and, likely more but I can't remember at this moment. Some of them are really good and informative but others, like Baseketball and, South Park, are not as good ...

I've also done the commentary level of Left 4 Dead and wish more games included one

Only for Kevin Smith's movies
On Clerks II there is a special documentary that is more than an hour long in the special features. I watched the entire thing.

OP: Only if it is a stand alone video, I don't like talking to disturb the movie I'm watching.

Only in Unskippable or Mystery Science Theater 3000. I'm planning to play through Portal with developer commentary at some point.
