I'm an only child and I kinda like it. I wanted a younger sibling when I was a kid, but it's not something I dwell upon now. If I had to choose though, probably a younger sister.

Well I've already got both a Older and Younger Brother, so any kind of Sister would be interesting. Though then I'd give up my lost and invisible middle child status.

I have a sister who's 4 years younger than me and a brother that's 14 years younger than me. He's cute.

If I was going to have another one I'd prefer a little girl, but to be honest another baby in my family is not what either of my parents need right now.

Only child myself, although twice that has almost changed. Nonetheless, always fancied the idea of having a little sister. You know, someone who looks up to you and who you protect. It would probably be less irritating if there was a wide gap between our respective ages. She might be annoying, however I survived a few days entertaining three kids (six, five and four), so I could handle a sister, xD

I have two younger siblings, both a brother and a sister. I hate my sister as we're quite close in age, and she's better looking than me. I like my brother because he almost died when he was around seven from meningitis, and we have more in common. Ideally I'd have an older brother with a decent taste in music and games so I could actually talk to someone.

While I have an older sister, I sometimes think it would be nice to also have a younger brother. Does anyone else think about having another sibling?
i'm the same as you, got an older sister but a younger brother could be good. doubt it would happen though

I'm the middle child of 5. And I'm basically 17.

Go figure.
That's nothing. My neighbours have a 2 year old and their parents are younger than mine, my parents are 44 and 43 respectively, and I'm 19 myself.

And there are craploads of families like that over here. My neighbours already got complaints from family members that they're too slow with making babies. Welcome to my town!

Anyway, more ontopic. I'm the eldest of 3; I'm 19, my brother is 17 and my sister is 11. If another sibling would be added I would move out in no-time.

I would have a little sister, because it'd be nice to look over and protect someone like that.

I already have a sister that's younger than me by 3 years or so. While I think that another little sister would be fantastic for me to calm me down, I think it would be better for my sister that exists, specifically because I honestly think that she needs to think her life over and a little sister would most likely give her someone to reflect on. I don't want to go over the details of what my sister's been through, but I can tell you that breaking the cabinet doors in the kitchen after breaking up is definitely not tolerable.

I'm 25 and my parent's will hopefully not be springing any more surprises on me. Though it is still a horrible possibility, thanks for putting that in my head.

I have two younger brothers and they're awesome but I very rarely needed to look out for them, the oldest is only three years younger and since his late teens he's been tougher than me, the younger is only 13 but I can already tell he's going to be the strongest of all of us.

A little sister to take care of would be awesome, terrorising all the boys she hangs with would be hilarious and necessary.

I have 2 older brothers, a younger brother and a younger sister.

What sort of sick bastard would give me another sibling.

I almost had a younger sibling, but Mom miscarried. :'(

So it's just me and an older sister. I kinda wish I had a little brother, though.

I'm an only child and just the thought of having a sibling and actually having to share anything with one makes me cringe. I suppose if I would have to have one I would go with an older sister. Just because I know a younger sibling would annoy me and I just don't think I would want an older brother.

Stick with the older ones. They can buy you alcohol!
But wouldn't you want to be the cool older brother and buy alcohol?
Nah, it's a hassle. Besides, my brother is way too moral to ever drink alcohol.
Have you ever asked? Mine did.

"Hey Jess (That's me, manly Jess), want me to buy you alcohol?"
"Nah, I'm cool thanks."
"Good, I got no money, which reminds me, give me all your money."
"Mmkay."

I never give him money though, bastard has a job...

Being an only child i do get an awful lot of attention, most of it unwanted -.-. Friends keep saying "gawrsh you're lucky!" even though it gets deadly boring from time to time... I always wanted a little sister i could look out for :3

None of the options. I'm an only child, and I love it. I would hate for that to change. Plus, I'm a little too old for that to even have any effect on my life at this point.

I'm the third of four children, and I'm the only boy too. I have two older sisters and one younger. I love them dearly, and I wouldn't change anything about them. Except maybe the mood swings of the younger one.

I already have four older siblings, three brothers and one sister. My mother aborted multiple times throughout her lifetime and lost two upon birth. On top of that, I already have two nieces and a nephew. Quite frankly, I think I have more then enough family members to contend with and my parents are already sick and tired with dealing with the children they already have.

But if, for some bizarre reason, my mother wanted to have another one, I would probably want to have a little sister. Since my sister's son lives with us and tends to be the devil incarnate, I don't think I could handle having another little boy in the house. Plus, it would probably make my sister happy, since she cried upon my birth out of disappointment that I wasn't a girl.
