In a weeks time, on the 7th of November, Nikolai Valuev is due to fight David Haye for the WBA heavyweight title. It is being billed as "David vs Goliath". Unfortuately for a certain obnoxious boxer who I am ashamed is boxing on behalf of my country [http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/8303777.stm], he won't be able to used ranged weapons this time.
For those in the dark, here is David Haye.
Impressive physique and all, but here is his opponent, Nikolai Valuev. (The large gentleman in the foreground)
And here they are stood next to each other.
I feel this fight is something of a mismatch, and I really do think that Valuev is going to take David Hayes face and push it through the back of David Hayes head. And given the behaviour of Haye leading up to this, not much would please me more.
Anyone here (who follow boxing or not) have any predictions for this fight?
