ive grown in ince in just about 7 years 
It doesnt really matter to me, unless I see someone significantly taller than me and that's just amazement. This rarely happens though, since I'm 6' 5.
But height seems to be a pretty decent plus when it comes to women and dipshits who are looking for trouble.
I can avoid fights simply by standing up, even though I'd probably get my ass handed to me on a silver platter.

I put other, for a simple reason: I don't care about height at all, but something people don't consider is that its sort of awkward when your partner isn't close to the same height as you. I don't have that problem, but I know that it matters to a lot of people.
you would be surprised at how quickly thumping someone on the head ends a fight. i am 3.5 inches shorter and that is enough leverage to knock someone flat with little effort, not to say i would do that as they might get hurt... worse than they need to be.Bibliotekaren said:

Yes, height is important. Physical appearances are important in our society and there's nothing anyone can do about it. Short guys have a harder time finding dates. Tall people are more likely to be respected due to the simple fact that their figure is more imposing. It's not something that is insurmountable, but short people do encounter unique social problems due to their height.

I'm 6 ft and I'd like to be taller... however I like shorter girls, in general like 5 ft 5.

6ft4inches . Still 6 inches shorter than me Dad. But im taller than everyone else I know. And boy do I love it, because the average females head makes a lovely drink stand....FACT!
I'm fairly short. I don't really care that much about it, but I know people who care about their height.
