Last time I had no other option than eat at McDonald's, I ordered a salad instead of those cancer sticks they call fries.

Wait a minute since when do fries cause cancer? I've heard plenty of insults about McDonald's, but that one is just weird.

OT: Yes its fine for a man to eat a salad. I eat a salad sometimes when its paired with something else. I think the problem comes when a man goes to dinner with a girl and he only orders a salad the woman will think one of two things. One she may think is that you're being cheap and want to spend the least amount of money on a dinner with her, even if that mean sacrificing a hearty meal. Secondly she may think that you're trying to watch your weight, not that there is anything wrong with that, it just makes you look like all you care about is how someone looks.

I enjoy a good salad, however my girlfriend tells me It's weird and not masculine, It's been going on for a while now, so once and for all help us decide!

she's right salad are unmanly i must make up for all salads i ate in my life. first i must grow a beard and gain burly muscles. then live in the forest and only eat what i can kill with my bear hands. what i can kill must be eaten raw becomes only wusses are are afraid of getting diseases from eating raw meat.(sarcasm)

i am eating a salad right now as a snack.(it won't fill me up but it's a good start). i don't feel unmanly

But seriously it's not 'unmanly' (lolwut). I enjoy a good salad and you know who else does? Fucking everyone. I work out a lot and salads are eaten by a lot of the regulars at the gym including the staff. They're versatile, they keep and they're generally healthy.

I prefer sandwiches personally but I'm nuts over bread. Man I love bread.

I think the OP should find a new girlfriend. Anyone that's so concerned about masculinity that they'd state that eating a salad is weird and un-masculine should probably re-examine themselves. And life.
