I enjoy a good salad, however my girlfriend tells me It's weird and not masculine, It's been going on for a while now, so once and for all help us decide!

And I suppose vitamin deficiencies and scurvy are masculine? I suggest you find a girlfriend with a less warped view of reality.

What the madness? Salads are amazing.

I have mine with lettuce, croutons, mozzarella, onions, and zesty Italian dressing. Tastes wonderful.

Y U NO olives? Kalamata olives are just so BOUSE.

Because I have really simple tastes and don't like a lot of things that most sane people like: olives, tomatoes, peanut butter, jelly, yogurt, chicken, etc.

I am with you on chicken and peanut butter. In fact, I find most meat disgusting. And yes, I know that peanut butter isn't meat, that thing is horrible in its own personal way.

Salads are so damn good. Hell, I can't eat any dish without a salad by the side, even if it's the regular lettuce, tomato and onion with a touch of olive oil. But add tuna, boiled eggs, olives, cucumber, sprice it up with salsa, oregano and a touch of salt, and boy do I have a meal there!

Also, salads are the perfect Summer course, when it's hot.

I'm eating a salad right now, strangely enough.

Although, I'm not a very picky nor elaborate eater. The salad I'm currently eating is simply hearts of romaine and feta cheese.

One of the best foodstuffs I ever ate was a salad with chicken, red onions, feta and kalamata olives.

How the fuck is it unmanly to eat a salad? If you want to be really manly, harvest the ingredients yourself. Rip the lettuce, carrots and onions out of the ground. Milk the goat and ferment the cheese. Mmm mmm. Absolutely delectable.

Tell your girlfriend that if she wants to live in the previous century she should get back into the flipping kitchen and keep that mouth shut unless you put something in it.

I don't see anything wrong with enjoying a salad. In fact, it can be quite healthy for you unless the food analysts changed their minds again. It's probably more manlier, for me at least, for a guy to actually take care of his body rather than stuffing down the greasiest stuff that lands on his plate when there are other options.
