I'd be, hum, probably a Well-intentioned Extremist [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/WellIntentionedExtremist] type. Generally aiming for making this planet less of a shithole, but wouldn't be averse to breaking a few bad eggs remorselessly along the way. And maybe do away with some things not because they're necessarily bad, but because they're pet peeves of mine. I'm petty like that.

Hero. Not only is it the right thing to do, but it's a thousand times more fun than being a villain. Doing good things for good people, and doing bad things to bad people. What could be better than that?
Welcome to the Escapist!

May I ask how you found this thread?

I'm starting to wonder at the recent rash of new users necro-ing long dead threads...
Oh, sorry. I was really just messing around on the internet, and found this poll. I saw that it was mostly dead, but I still wanted to give my two cents regardless.
Well, then. You are forgiven :p

Like I said, Welcome to the forums, in case you decide to stick around. It's fairly civil around here... for the most part...

Just avoid the Religion and Politics sub forum for the time being :D
Thank you. Oh, and I fully intend to stay away from that forum. xD
R&P? You're going to be fine unless you go looking for trouble. From what I can see, there are some intelligent conversations in there.

OT- I like being good as a fantasy, but in actuality, I'd be a villain. People and I don't get along...

A hero, super or otherwise.

I find it challenging and heroes tend to get stronger over time while villains persist as a constant threat/eye sore.

Neither. I'm far too much of a realist to believe that you can change the world for the better without killing some of the bad guys. I'd be a good guy, but I would have no qualms with putting a bullet in the head of the crazed murderous lunatic to stop him blowing up a bus of children or destroy the world (see The Punisher, but less self righteous).

All these necro'd threads have given me a killer idea for a horror B-movie:

NIGHT OF THE LIVING THREAD - Coming to a DVD near you [sub]when you least expect it.[/sub]

But to answer the question, villain. I'm a nice guy in person, but I'm always willing to shake things up a bit. Plus, it'd give me the excuse to grow a dastardly mustache.

Cannot. Resist. The 'stache.

I'd be Doctor Doom, except not obsessed with destroying Reed Richards and more inclined to being a hero.

That depends on the point of view, a villain for some is a hero for others, and the other way around, i would defend the causes i believe and do what i think is right even if someone considered me a villain, like the X men for example, so first option

If i were a superhero i would like to be Guardian from Alpha flight, Captain Canuck or Captain Britain, or some kind of witch who uses mystic powers, like Agatha Harkness

I'd probably be more Anti-Hero. I would help innocent people but criminals would get shanked with their own ribs. It's more fun to kill the people that actually deserve it.

Out of the two choices, I would be a hero but I wouldn't be a perfect hero (I have my flaws too you know).

I mean I would try to lived out to the ideal of superheroes like Batman and Superman but I do have my dark side but that side isn't enough for me to be a villain (unless someone or something keep pushing that side out of me).

Beside some people out there who are having a rough time may want someone to look and inspire from (give them hope).

Neither, my reason being is that striving to be a hero is kind of like war, no matter which "side" you fight on somebody will always consider you the enemy/bad guy. If I was a hero I would constantly be trying to make both sides of any conflict happy so as to appear a hero to them. As such, I would do what I feel is the right thing in any situation and hope that I could live my life with my head held high.

The first thing I would do with superpowers is "fix" the environment and make sure that no more animals or plants went extinct. From there on I would help improve man's knowledge of biology and technology.

I could never be a villain, nor would I ever want to.

Even if no-one ever knew I was a hero, doing good would be good enough for me.
