I'm feeling whimsical, but not really up for another "Neutral Drow should stop advertising his eccentricities" thread. So I'll ask a random question, instead: which class or archetype of Servant Spirit would you be?
-----
Would you be a Saber? Known for your skill with a sword (any sword, not just sabres), your talent at hand-to-hand combat, and your ability to resist all but the most powerful magecraft?
Perhaps an Archer? Deadly skilled with projectiles, whether from a bow, a gun, or thrown objects, and the ability to last without mana (possibly to avenge the death of your Master)?
Maybe you'd be a Lancer? Godlike agility and speed would be yours, to run circles around whoever would face you, along with whatever staves or polearms you'd wield.
You might prefer an Assassin? After all, you can fight up-front combat with another hero if absolutely pressed, but why would you, when you could more easily stab, slash, or garrote their Master into worm food behind their back?
Possibly a Rider? Why limit yourself, your tactics, your identity to a particular weapon, when your true calling is to ride a living mount or drive a vehicle into battle?
How about a Caster? Who needs physical combat when magecraft can accomplish the same and so much more besides...and if you make the other heroes come to your prepared territory, your magic goes from powerful to overwhelming.
Or would you be a Berserker? Screw subtlety, you want to be as strong, as fast, and as tough as you can possibly be, to face any foe...and if you must give up your sanity for that power, then so be it.
-----
I'd offer a cookie to anyone who gets this, but I might run out of cookies. After all, if the Warhammer players don't need to explain themselves, why do I?
And no, I'm not putting in an Avenger option. Sorry to his fans.
