So I was helping clean up a rummage sale that was at my church. When I spotted a CD for Counter Strike: Condition Zero. I was able to buy it and right now it just sits on a counter in my house (My PC can't start up for it's life so I can't instal it and all I have are macs). So it came to me that there are still a lot of games from years ago that are surprisingly active in multiplayer. So have you ever booted up a game that you just wanted to play for kicks that you played years ago and found out that the multiplayer is highly active even though it's "out-of-date."

Halo: Combat Evolved for Mac still has a few people online as does Star Wars: Battlefront on PC.

Right now there are more than 5000 people playing Condition Zero on Steam, earlier today there were more than 7000.

It's plenty active, although if you can get CS normal that is still massively active, as of now 50,390 are playing it online. The good ones never die, people keep them running.

DoD HL1 mod. It has died off a bit but it is still awesome. Also The specialists has a pretty solid core. Condition Zero kinda sucked from memory. Source still is popular but I don't think condition zero was ever up there with the other CSs.

Well I was able to get it for free. When we were cleaning up at the rummage sale it was just "take what whatever you want." So no lose.
