I was going to point out that I didn't know who these characters were, but then I realized even them saying Hunter x Hunter, I still wouldn't know the characters and be able to give a real answer.

Umm...not bothering to Google any of this, I'm going with...Chrollo...because he's a zombie cyborg time wizard with a wise-cracking pet dolphin named Captain Murder.

I'm going with Hisoka purely off plot relevance.

Hisoka's been a bar to Gon since the beginning of the hunter exams and their confrontation has been teased many times. He's even occasionally been on team-Gon. Chrollo has just been a vaguely sue-ish shadowy figure, mostly in the background. Even if he dies Kurapika still has many spiders who he can kill.

If he doesn't die then the match will be interrupted or one of them will escape.
