Poll: Home theater

Ok hear is the deal I'm currently setting up a home theater system and i have narrowed it down to 2 things one is a 42" Sony bravia LCD TV which is currently selling for $1200(AUS) its been marked down since it is a year old model.(currently no photo sorry).

and a screen if i can fined one that i like ,

now my current budget is sitting at $1400 and the stuff will only get used maybe once a month so what do you recon would be worth getting?

also keep in mind that with the protector i can take it out side and set it up the garage for the summer nights and that the system will only get used for like 2-5 hours per week.

The same thing would happen if you walked in front of a tv, unless you are see through.

Ah, but with a telly, the moment of blockage only happens at one angle, but with the projector it happens all the across the screen. Also, how do you know I'm [i/]not[/i] see-through?

The tv. Because with a projector you can see all the dust clouds through the light, like at my house!

I'd pic the TV. Because Tvs are cooler than projectors. Because I said so

I have both and I strongly recommend the television. Projectors are just annoying and not as good as televisions, IMO.
