Agreed. My father in law used to love the show, but it's getting a bit.. er.. now. I also disagree with your ending because, like another poster said, it would seem like it was all about Thirteen. I don't think a literal death is necessary for the series to end, but a metaphorical one will likely be present anyway.
Also, to anyone who thinks, don't like it? don't watch.. It's not that I don't like it. I very much enjoy House and his character which, at the time of the first episode, was so new and interesting. Many fans have fallen in love with the series so it's hard to see it forcing itself to go on, getting more and more crap with every episode.
The best stories deserve the best endings, and rarely get them. How many times have you finished a series of novels, or a video game, only to receive an extremely unsatisfactory or under developed ending that left a bitter taste in your mouth?
We don't want that for House!
