My name is common in a way and uncommon in another from what I can tell. I have heard of a lot of people named Stephen but I am the only person I can think of who spells their name Stefan.

My name- Ronan- is fairly uncommon in Ireland. You hear of a few people with the name, but not all that many, compared to the amount of Jacks and Shanes and Brians out there.

According to How Many of Me there are "fewer than 1500" people in the US with the name.

Interestingly, there's only one person with my full name in the country, and given that I was born there it's probably me.

Navarre is not especially common as a first name. I hear it is more so as last name, Primarily the French. I've never met anyone with it.

Even in the Muslim world, my name (Ammar) is a pretty rare name. It seems that in a lot of Sunni Muslim dominated places you see the name Omar (which I hate being called), I've only met one other guy with the name Ammar and he was a Shia like me so I'm pretty sure Omar is a Sunni thing while Ammar (the correct way of saying and spelling it) is Shia from what I've seen.

I would say no one else has my name, but I've heard of one other girl with my name in Burma. I dunno if it was the same spelling, but it was pronounced the same at least.

According to Wolfram Alpha there are only 30,000 people named Dante in America. I like my name and the fact that it's pretty rare. I've only encountered one other Dante in my life. I'm sure I would see more if I went to Italy, but it seems very rare in America
