My name is Herry, not Harry, other then my dad (I'm Herry Jr.) I don't think anyone else has my name. Personally I think my grandpa meant Harry but misspelled it (filipinos in the 1950s, even today I still see people spelling cupcake as cupp keyk).

I believe that my name is somewhat rare, it's Mitchell
That's pretty common too.

Garrett Thomas, two fairly common names however the problem is Garrett is usually a last name and Thomas is usually a first name.
Not where I live. I know at least 5 Garretts, and I know I've heard of a lot more that are friends of friends. As for Thomas as the last name, that's right up there with Smith and Thompson here.

That is super weird. Since when is Miranda an uncommon name in Canada? I thought it was one of the most common names ever...

Does Canada just have more weird or European names than the States or something? That's four people whose names are really common where I live (but maybe nowhere else??). I saw a lot more pretty common names being stated as rare in the posts here. Maybe it's just that everyone wants to believe they're unique?

"Tylar"? I'm pretty sure that's very rare.

I mean, there's plenty of "Tyler"s in this world, but I've never encountered another "Tylar" before.
Hooray for White-Trashified names.

OT: Max, fairly common, don't see it often here but it's not uncommon or rare.

OK, so, I believed as a child that my first name was totally unique and original. However...my last name, Thompson, is one of the most common last names of all time.

Now that I've done some research, I discovered that my name isn't totally unique. It's used for a few companies, a couple of medications, and is an uncommon girl's name in... Saudi Arabia, I think? There are a few other males with my name, all in English-speaking countries, and one of them is my aunt's other nephew, named after me.

My name was very common for a few years around when i was born but that changed since anyone who was a kid when star wars came out either became to mature to name their child after a fictional character or was doomed to never have children.

"There are 420,882 people in the U.S. with the first name Benjamin.
Statistically the 138th most popular first name."

So I guess it's fairly popular. I've met several with my name growing up.

My first name, Nathan, is extremely common. I go by my middle name though, Austin, which is also pretty common. My last name, Hacker, is not nearly as common though. Almost to the point of rare.

But I can say I am one of 14 Nathan Hackers in the US, and my dad is one of them.

My name is really common and by that I mean its ubiquitous throughout the US. Both my first and last name too it sounds as made up on the spot as John Smith. I can only imagine what my friends go through when they tell their parents they're going to hang out with a friend from school and then the parents say "Oh yeah what's his name?". Then they proceed to think bullshit when the kid answers.

My first name is Jake, insanely common.

I know 4 other people in my school called Jake, and I only know the people in my year.

However I go by my middle name Wesley, which is damn rare, especially on a white guy. Never heard of anyone else with it.

My name is Uglje?a (pronounced Uh-glay-sha). Incredibly rare. It was fairly common in the medieval times where I live (Serbia), but not so much now.

I polled mine Rare, as I get people asking me about my name all the time. I see it every now and then, but not frequently. Seriously, you'd think that 'Duane' wouldn't be so far fetched.

Ryan. Yep, no shortage of that name in the world. Hell, someone who I went to school with had the same exact first and middle name as I do.

I think I only personally met two people in my entire life with the same name as me (Cole).
My last name is extremely common though.

Adolphus

The actual namesake is the swedish King/general Gustavas Adolphus who is largely credited with helping protestants win the 30 years war...Does that stop people from calling me Hitler?

No.

It's swedish and i'm sure more widely used in Europe, but in the U.S, me, my father, and some random I met at a park are all I can recall.

I'm African-American by they way. My dads Jamacian, so I guess it has something to do with the British.

And Yes, finding out about Adolf HItler, since it's pretty much the same name, did fuck with my head a bit. I got over it.

How many of me.com Says...

?There are fewer than 1,559 people in the U.S. with the first name Adolphus.

Looks like there's just over 1 million people in the US with the name "Gary", so nothing terribly special there, but my last name (Boba) seems to only be shared with a certain space bounty hunter.

Scratch that, looks like there's a guy in Illinois or someplace that has my exact name... we should go find Boba Fett and start a club or something.
