After using my current keyboard for at least 7 years (The WSAD keys lettering is completely worn off. E, L and O are getting there), it has become quite dirty.

I'm fairly certain it started out white, but now it has at least 7 different colors on it.
There is a lot lint and dust in the cracks and between keys. I have spilled liquids on it over the years in between the keys. The only key that isn't dirty or worn is the Escape key. Always used alf+f4.

If you actually look at it, its disgusting. In fact if there was ever evidence that bacteria is on your keyboard, there it is.

But am i gonna do anything about it? Prob not, as long as it keeps working. Same as my mouse, which is 8 years old. Though that thing will last forever. I love optical mice.

If I can find my Camera I will take a picture for you.

So how dirty is your keyboard, and if you can get a pic.

Mine is not too bad, but is not as old as yours. It is in places held together with duck tape though.

I try to replace my stuff whenever I can.

I'm looking into acquiring anotehr keyboard specifically for gaming.
and a wired mouse. I use a cordless one and I'm really,r ally really tired of the battery.

Both are black but I'm wearing into the sides of the mouse. I can see my thumb print in it...

Alas, my faithful keyboard of many years was too filthy to be usable anymore, so yesterday I replaced her with a $20 keyboard from Dicksmith. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find wired keyboards these days?

I have two keyboards right now, one is brand new and waiting for the new desktop to arrive to be used and one is slightly filthy. Meaning it has some weird looking smears over it which should not be trusted.

I voted "Some stains. Mostly food. Little dirty"... but it's really mostly dust down in the cracks between keys. There are also 5 missing keys (power, sleep, hibernate, windows left and windows right), but I tore them out myself... with pliers.

My keyboard is very diry.

I believe it's at the brothel this minute, whoring itself out to many a perverted individual.

[sub]It's actually quite clean, I just couldn't resist euphemism.[/sub]

It looks somewhat clean, but occasionaly the z button falls off. It looks a lot cleaner then it is.

Mine is one of those ancient Dell pieces of crap. It's nigh-impossible to clean.

I should probably save up for a new keyboard at some point. Maybe a Z-Board.

I voted it for some stains but honestly its just really really dusty (as is the rest of my computer) I dust it but not frequently I guess I should dust it more often.

Mine's just in a constant state of filth, kinda like Pig Pen from Peanuts. Every so often when I do clean it out I find it actually functions a bit worse than when it's dirty.(keys start to stick or don't depress as easily) I can pick up my keyboard and shake it over my desk and guarantee that bits of hair, dust, and god only knows what else will fall out of it.

You can easily tell where my hands rest when using it too because the silver paint on the edges has been worn away in those places.

Mine's probably really dusty right now. I don't know because I don't use it as much. I mainly use laptops now because I can take it anywhere. So now I just use my PC as a paper weight and for entertainment, don't really care for it.

My keyboard is pretty clean. Aside from some dust here and there it still looks pretty much like it did when it was new.

I have a laptop, but it's riddled with dust and hair. I tried using some gel to clean it just yesterday. I don't really see much difference, still as dirty as ever.

Years ago someone tried to get me to get a wireless mouse and keyboard. They called it an upgrade. I call it an increase in expenses and headache. Dont need to mess with a battery, and it will always work no matter what. I may still get a wireless mouse just for gaming though.

Something everyone considers when they hit the power button accidently.

Mine's fucking disgusting. I play lots of PC games and talk a lot on MSN, so it's covered in shit. I've tried replacing it, but no other keyboard is like this one. It's worn to shit, but in a good way. I just don't touch my face, if you touch my keyboard and touch your face, you'll get a huge influx of spots in that area. I wash my hands quite a lot to avoid that, but yeahh, I'm scared to actually turn it upside down, I don't wanna know what's under the keys.

My laptop has been around for 5 years, so my keyboard is covered in this odd sticky black goo, dust, crumbs, and the odd hairs. No matter how much I try, it gets back to similar dirtiness within a month because dust settles in my apartment really fast.
