Poll: How do you avoid spoilers?

So Mass Effect 3 is coming out tomorrow and while I am excited and on a Mass Effect binge at the moment (finally got around to finishing my femmshep playthrough for both games, now starting a 'Shepard is a Jerk' playthrough), unfortunately being a broke college student means I have neither the money nor the time to get it within the first week. Of course a lot of my friends are also gamers who love the Mass Effect series, so I am concerned that I might overhear or be blatantly told something that spoils the story.

So how do you fellow Escapist's avoid spoilers?

Personally, I am going to try to stay away from gaming news, reviews, and any thread about Mass Effect until I manage to get it myself. I am very invested in the stories of all my Shepard's, and I want to be surprised by whatever the game has to offer.

Will power and commmon sense? I mean I avoid clicking on games related topic/ video that is spoiler related.

Duuude... I have like, the ability to forget things like that up until the moment where they become relevant.

Most of the time I don't care, sometimes spoilers will make me want to play the game more to get to that point and see how exactly the spoiler unfolds. If it's a game I don't want spoiled I just avoid threads. None of the games I care about are popular enough to be spoiled everywhere or the fanbase is a lot nicer and use spoiler tags properly.

I have a file on my computer that, when activated, will block off several sites and forums and it basically says what I can and can't look up until the game comes out. I think I should run it right now actually.
