Simple question. What method do you primarily use to browse the forums?
For discussion value, list the pros and cons of your preferred method, and/or any changes that would make browsing easier.

I go to the gaming or off-topic forums and search for a new thread most of the time. When I'm too lazy to do that, Latest Post does the job.

I peruse through the first 2 pages of the news room/offtopic and gaming forums. If nothing interests me, then I quickly flip through the following pages. I usually notice something.

I use the latest posts sidebar and just fishing through the indexes for something that catches my attention. The sidebar is quick and easy, and the indexes are just a collection of random things that may be interesting enough to check out.
As far as improvements go...I can't think of anything.

I press home after reading a topic. I flick through anything interesting. I use personal messages to jump to threads where I've been quoted.

Latest posts usually. This has a glaring flaw as it's mostly one's I'm not interested in.

Damn my laziness, DAMN YOU TO HELL!

I keep an eye on the "Latest Posts" box, clicking those titles that catch my interest. The threshold of "interest" is totally dependent on my level of boredom, though.

I simply use the forums home page to get to wherever I want to go.

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/

I merge in and out of User Reviews, Religion and Politics, and the Off Topic boards.

Not the most efficient way, but I've been doing it for a couple years now.

I have a tab open for both Gaming and Off-Topic, and refresh every couple of minutes.

I spend 10-20 minutes in every forum I usually visit, picking away until I find interesting threads to comment. I comment, then hit the back key and continue on. I like my way of doing things, and I'm not sure if any other way would be better for me.
I actually do the same thing, kinda. But sometimes I have the forum up on 2-3 tabs, so I can see what's going on in multiple parts of the forum at once.
