I notice you didn't add 'with a kiss' in your poll, so I had to settle with scrambled.

But realy Boiled or fried, I'm satisfied as long as I...

Poached, but I'd settle for sunny side up.
This! I prefer poached, but sometimes people look at me funny (I'm looking at you, mom) when I ask for it sometimes, so I go for sunny-side up.

I really love omlettes too, though. And Quiche, there should definitely be an option for that too.

Hard boiled is really great with Chinese dishes, and scrambled is great for semi-quick mornings (quick mornings being cereal or porridge)

TL;DR I LOVE EGGS. ALL OF THEM.

EDIT: Gonna go make some eggs. These food threads always make me hungry.

Heh, I'm a vegetarian! :-D

If I did eat eggs, scrambled seems like the way to go. I can only imagine what it would taste like.

Poached until the yolks are hard or scrambled with tomato and shredded cheese; with wheat toast. Om, nom , nom.

Depends on what I have with them

If it's something else delicious like hash browns, Sunny Side Up. The yoke breaks and runs and you can dip your bacon and stuff in the amazing yellow goo.

Otherwise, I separate the yoke from the white and fry the white. Yes, I really am that picky.

You really should have included other as a poll option... There are lots of ways to make eggs and you only named a few. I doubt you could get all the options in this poll, but other is a nice option.

I like my eggs soft boiled. There's so much more taste when the yolk is still runny than when it's hard boiled. I do love almost any kind of variety. Scrambled eggs with some sausage, cheese omelette, hard boiled (great with smoked salmon on top), sunny side up, sunny side down, devilled eggs, poached, seriously, any kind of egg is delicious to me. I even eat them raw on occasions.

The one kind I don't want is the fertilized kind. I mean this both as the joke mentioned on page 1, but also as the delicacy that is basically a fertilized egg that has matured for 18 days then cooked. It looks utterly disgusting and I've heard from a friend that it tastes almost as disgusting as it looks.

I like omelettes and hard boiled eggs. Sometimes soft boiled eggs. And fried. Those are good.

That's about it. Though, to be fair, I haven't had a chance to try eggs other ways.

But I'm not doing anything with runny or raw yolk. I tried that once. Icky. Plain icky.

No over easy?
T_T

Over easy eggs light salt and peppered with some lovely buttered toast is my idea of heaven.
Ooh, put me down for one of those.

Absolutely over easy. Sometimes I'll make em over hard if I'm putting them in a sandwich. But if I'm making a plate of eggs and bacon, I want my yolk runny.

I like my eggs scrambled, in a sandwich or mixed with rice.

alternatively I like eggs hard-boiled, mainly in a sandwich but I also appreciate a party that has them like this

I like Omelettes fine but it has to be cheesy and filled with stuff.

The other two are blech.

All kinds. Some of my favorites..

Hardboiled:
-Cut and made into egg sandwiches with cajun seasoning and pepperjack, on sliced toasted sourdough
-Deviled Eggs. Because. Awesome.
-Diced and mixed into greek salad

Over-easy/Softboiled
-Over skillets (mixtures of potatoes, peppers, onions and meat)
-On hot burritos/chimichangas (below cheese layer, if any)

Scrambled
-In a lot of applications. A LOT. (fried rice, as an omelette, as a side, as a filling for near-baked croissants...)

So guys. How do you like the eggs you eat eh?
Your strange research on our lives continues.

Ahem.

Egg Sandwich. Like what they have at McDonalds, only homemade. With aged New York Cheddar, paprika, and spicy sausage. Delicious.

If not that, then scrambled.

Omelettes are amazing, the only problem is that there's only something like a 10% chance of the omelette actually being an omelette at the end. It's nowhere near as satisfying eating an omelette that's gone wrong. Still tastes good, but it's disappointing nonetheless.
Man, I hear ya. Every time, it starts off great, it looks delicious, all chock full of mishrooms and cheese and veggies and bacon, then I try and flip it and it explodes and I end up eating scrambled eggs again.
The trick to making the perfect omelette, my personal favorite way to have eggs, is to start with room temperature eggs, don't over beat them and not to "flip" them put to fold it. By folding it you bypass the risks of flipping it and it allows the omelette's own carry-over heat to gently finish cooking the eggs. Also, make sure everything in the omelette is at least room temperature before you start and do not overfill.

Either omelets or scrambled for me. I'm not too picky with my eggs though, hard and soft boiled are also pretty good. Poached is another eggcelent option. Yeah, I really don't have a preference when it comes to eggs really.

I was wondering if someone would post this. I remember not eating eggs for weeks after first seeing that...

Um, you can eat eggs if your a vegetarian, just not meat. You might be thinking of vegan (no animal products).

I wanted to say an omelette but since I can't remember the last time I actually succeeded in making one I will have to go with scrambled as that is how they most often end anyway.

Put me down or any, as long as the sides are bacon, fried tomatoes, sausages and buttered toast.

somewhere between an omelet and scrambled. Beat the eggs; add seasonings; pour into pan/on griddle; move them around a bit while they cook, forming a sorta egg patty; flip; top with cheese; plate. Delicious. Green onion, onion, peppers, and other fixin's can be added if I have them.
