I had some really nice spiced cashews from a Turkish stall at a market I went to about a year ago. Not hot-spicy, but loads of really nice flavours (no idea what the spice mix was).

Sadly I've been unable to find them anywhere in this country (UK) since, and I really miss them because they were absolutely gorgeous.

I tend to prefer roasted/salted nuts (dry roast peanuts are nice, but not in larger quantities. More than a few and I go off the taste - salted are really addictive). Salted cashews are pretty nice, though I did have some pretty OK Caramelised ones (ridiculously sweet though).

Favourite brand? Dormens - their Pistachio nuts are absolutely gorgeous.

I actually enjoy home made salted cashews, I salt them with this sort of sea salt, and it's really good.
