Virginity isn't as big a deal as people might think. True there are some people who try to get laid but fail miserably because of social retardation and hideous physical appearances (The fact that i have a girlfriend is something that horrifies me at times), but on the other hand you've got people who are attractive and friendly and very capable of finding someone who would want nothing more than to fuck them senseless, but just don't have the time for one reason or another. Without more context, i can't really give a conclusive statement.
I don't care whether they are or aren't.
If they haven't had a chance but want it, bad luck, keep trying.
If they had a chance but didn't want it, fair enough, that's your choice.
(I wouldn't complain if a friend only had soft drinks when they came with us to a bar, or just noodles at a Chinese restaurant. If they don't feel the need to be adventurous, fair play)

Yeah but you can learn a lot about someone just by whether or not they have had sex and how they react to it because there could be a reason they've never had sex, IE are assholes, frustrated weirdos, or someone who just hasn't gotten the opportunity.Treefingers said:

I can't help but notice that we're assuming an awful lot, I mean they could have had a harrowing experience or it may be part of their culture or maybe they are simply not interested in sexuality. Hm...I'm 23.5 years old and still a virgin, you could say I'm lazy and simply don't go out much and showing interest in gettin' some as it involves going out and meeting (mostly) stupid and uninteresting people in places I hate (smoke-infested bass hell pits of night-clubs with stroboscopes).

Being a virgin is easy when you were home schooled and your social life was based from a church that taught sex is for marriage. I know people who feel sorry for my 'sheltered' life but I've been able to branch out and do things others at the church wouldn't do (like video games and lots o' internets!) I still think I got a pretty good deal on life.
As far as virgins go well I know its hard to stay a virgin if opportunities arise so those who stay virgins deserve some respect for that, but there are those who are snobbish about it and I don't think they are doing it for the right reasons.
