Poll: How do you write?

Yesterday I was talking with some friends and somehow the conversation turned to how we hold pencils and other things like that. I was pretty surprised when they told me that they all used two fingers. I use three and I assumed this was how most people held it. So Escapists, I want to know how you guys hold writing tools, so I can argue that it's not weird to them later.

Anywhere from 2-4. I can't remember ever using 5, and 1 doesn't really work.

Three- index, middle and thumb. I can't imagine writing with two, seems like it would lack precision.
EDIT: Oh, actually... Trying it now, I can hold it with two in a way that kinda makes the middle one superfluous... Still, it feels weird, but if you got used to it, I can understand using that style. Another mystery solved by the great detective, Joshua Ayt.
EditEdit: Oh... two people don't even have fingers. To think of such an injustice in a gaming community.

I hold it with my index, middle, and thumb. So 3 fingers then. My handwriting is bad though.

This. Plus, I was always told in school I was holding it irregularly. Not sure if that's TRUE, but the number of people saying "three but my handwriting is terrible" makes me think of those "warnings."

I generally hold it with two fingers, letting it rest against my third. Though occasionally, a fourth finger slips in there because it wants to play too.

Though my handwriting looks like a demon-possessed dyslexic 9 year old in the process of learning cursive, so I don't think I'm doing it right. Maybe those two finger folk are on to something...

I hold my pen with my thumb and first two fingers with the body of the pen pressed against my third finger and resting in the space between my thumb and finger.

Being left handed I also tend to write or draw with my notebook opened backwards so my arm doesn't rest against the spine.
