Poll: How many of you folks have played DDO?

I have looked at the trial. My thoughts are found here. [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.103976?page=8] For those whom clicking links is too advanced, I didn't like it. I find the controls unintuitive and unresponsive and really do not care about the game world. For an MMO, that only leaves the community to draw you in, but out of all the MMO's I have played, I have hardly, if ever interacted with any other player.

On the whole, I've found the experience disappointing, but I am still early in the trial. I may change my mind, but I doubt it.

I'd love to interact with you. What server are you on?
As far as interacting goes, have you put up an lfm? Have you joined a group via the lfm system? I've not ever had a day on DDO where I didn't interact.

No and I don't intend to. DnD is best enjoyed with friends you can actually have a few beers with while you play.

Don't be fooled. We are still enjoying DnD with friends (voice chat IN game is wonderful) and we still enjoy our alcoholic beverages while playing. (I have at least 2 friends who play better drunk lol)

I would consider myself to be a pretty active D&D player, but DDO was something i just couldn't get into as much as i tried to like it.
