Greetings Escapists.
So, I've seen a few threads about "What was your first post?" and "What was your first thread?" but none about how long it took you to go from venturing an opinion to posing a question. At the time of writing this, I'm around the 400 post mark, and yet this is my first thread, as I felt a bit nervous of starting one.
The reason for this was the fact that because I post at work, and therefore am not online for extended periods, starting a thread seemed like starting a conversation with someone and then not listening to the answer (which seemed rude). But since the Escapist is a global community, elements of which are collectively online 24/7, I have since realised that my preconception was in fact a misconception - and hence made this thread.
Now, the poll is self-explanitory, but the discussion value I want to add is this: How long did it take you to make a thread, and what (if anything) held you back?
