I try to keep my tab count low, especially on Firefox. I only have two Gigs of RAM, Firefox eats that stuff...

One of the reasons I switched to IE. Granted, opening a new tab takes a bit longer than in FIrefox, but the memory handling is much better with each tab actually disappearing from RAM when closed. Also, the swap file doesn't work properly with Firefox, since everything is one thread. Not to mention security... Yes, I'll stick with IE

currently have 3 open, (This thread, the Nuzlocke forum, and Youtube) but I've only just turned my computer on, the tab count will probably increase along the day, probably from TvTropes or Cracked, I find it fun there.

34 tabs right now. I usually have at least 20 tabs or so - I rarely bookmark anything, because once a link goes into the bottomless pit of other links that is my bookmarks bar, it rarely comes out again. So if I have anything I need to remember or anything important then I just keep it open as a tab until I've finished with it.

well, thanks to all these interesting little headlines on the "hot threads", it's just increased by 5. Oh, and some articles i wanna read, plus amazon pages for stuff im gonna get around to ordering, and...

I actually recently "purged" my tabs of old stuff i wans't gonna use anytime soon. in a week, i have too many again.

One. Sometimes it gets as high as four though. I don't really see why you would need any more than that; you can just press ^D and save a page to read later.

I try that...then firefox crashes and it's forever lost to the immense nature of cyber space D: But since then I've made a very anal filing process for my bookmarks, so I can find everything just fine ...OCD just a little bit >.>
