Poll: How much do you spend on an average night out?

So it's just gone 2pm here in England and I've finally managed to roll out of bed with a mind blowing hangover. On top of that, it looks like I spent a good 60 quid on alcohol alone last night.

Bit annoyed.

So my question to you lot is, how much do you normally spend on a night on the town?

Personally I wouldn't normally spend quite that much but yesterday was payday so.

Usually about 3 or 4 drinks, so less than ?20 if I can. I can't have that much without getting sick so I'm forced into moderation.
Frickin' alcohol...

Between £20-30, getting into town costs me 7 quid alone. I have spent a bit more though on some occasions.

That's pretty impressive. Perhaps a little...too much?

Silly people, drinking ethanol and leaving the house. Don't they know that the best funtimes are to be had all alone and with no chemical additions?

I like to go out with about $60 but I can get smashed for under $20 if the need arises.

Generally £10 is enough to see me through a few pints in a pub, or you can spend it on something else and lose a whole weekend, so I'm generally not a big spender on my nights out.

Having the honor of living in one of the most expensive countries in the world, I normally spend ~20£ on a quiet evening out (couple a lagers + a drink).
If you're going to get sloshed, and you don't drink at home before going out, a 100£ night isn't that uncommon. And then there's kebabs and taxis.

About 80-100 Aussie dollars in drinks. Shots are expensive.

Not factoring in taxi rides, as I only do those about half the time.

The real manly men talking about drinking their pints of beer, huh... Oh sorry, I'll just go ahead and leave and never come back. (trying to be funny, in case you didn't notice)

50 to 60 quid for a average night. Guest_Star is not wrong though. I have a few mates who spend up to 100 on.. Extras.

Only 20$, I tend to mooch off people if it's any more than that.

No idea what the AUD is in comparison to the Pound, but it can be as little as $30 drinking $5 beers at local RSL/pubs or $120+ on expensive cocktails and stuff at Casino's. Probably if you count pre-drinks, food and transport on an average night out about $60ish.

My thoughts exactly.

Then again I feel a little out-of-place here, being an American in an area where the only "going out" options are restaurants with bars. I'm rather enraptured, however, to hear what a night out is for other folks. Maybe I'm too frugal for this, though: I can't fathom blowing a week's pay like that.

I didn't even mention the half bottle of whiskey I usually demolish before leaving the flat.

Then I hit the piss for 12 hrs or so... so that's under $20/hr all up and I only drink irish whiskey, which is never cheap.
