certain shoes are completely uncomfortable to me, so i usually spend a bit more than 50 bucks to get some decent shoes, but never more than 100

I usually wear undercovers or rangers. They cost between 70-90Eur so its up to...lets say 130$.

There is nothing like a relyable boot with a nice steelcap

Once a year i get a pair of converse for 30EUR too

I don't remember how much my shoes cost because I've had them for at least 4 years. Probably $20-30.

I have a very real fear of slipping developed over a lifetime of several dozen knee dislocations...I buy shoes and boots that I perceive to have a good grip and anti-slip. I also have short-wide feet..so this limits me to few options.

In the end, I can't find shoes that cost less than $100.00 that meet my needs. They'll typically run $100-$200. They are by far my most expensive apparel purchase as I buy cheap for everything else.

Without this fear I'd still buy for comfort...though I'd likely not have to spend more than $50.00 or so to get that.

Hmm, I think my leather boots were £30, XE tells me thats $48 currently. I however like to think if you can do something dressed with impeccable taste then you should do it so. However I also believe strongly in charity, and my hobbies are all expensive. So while I'm not likely to spend £840 on a pair of shoes, I would stretch to £100 for "cordwainer made" dress shoes.

Also, does anyone else think this is quite a reasonable offer?

Assuming I'll live another 60 - 70 years, they make quite a convincing argument. If I die sooner, I won't worry about having wasted any money.

Um the ones I'm currently wearing... $70. They're limited edition Metallica Converse. I'm a terrible person, I know. But I also have $20 boots, $40 paint splattered Converse, a few pairs of $10 flip-flops and another pair of $60 boots a long with a few pairs $30-50 dress shoes.

Oh, I do have $200 high heels in my possession, but they're my sister's and not mine.

Just bought a pair of BaseBall Boots.

£35. There's your answer.

PS : May I also add they are Converse Boots? Well... They're converse boots. You get to know that even if you said "No."

That was the last pair of shoes I bought, for about £50. I have a few other pairs of shoes (Some big black Doc Martens, some old black hi-top All stars and some other skate shoes that I wear around in the summer), but most of the shoes I buy aren't more than £60.

I put <$50
probably somewhere around 40-some
60 max for shoes. I need good shoes, usually trail runners for parkour, but they're still just shoes and they wear out relatively quickly

I think it was somewhere between $20-$30 for the pair I bought, but I got them during a sale when it was buy a pair and get a second for half price or something. So 2 pairs of shoes for less than $40? I'll take that.

I've never understood why people need so many shoes.
I have a pair of everyday/running shoes, flip flops I rarely wear, and dress shoes I dread to wear... I think I might have another pair of dress shoes but I'm not sure

I don't see why spending money on vanity is any worse than any other luxury good, like game consoles, cars, or a nice couch.

$10. On sale at Walmart. Had them for a year and a half now. Most comfortable fucking shoes I've ever owned.
