Poll: How much of thread do you read?

Ive noticed recently that ive got into the bad habit of only reading the first few posts in a thread before rushing on to post MY view cos making MY view known is more important than reading about OTHER PEOPLE'S views. I was wondering if any of you did the same thing, feel free to post on the suject of any other bad 'forum-related' habits you have.

I don't generally tend to read through everyone else's posts. I might, occasionally, if I think they may have something interesting to say, but usually i'll make my post.

It really depends on the topic of the thread and the length.
I generally read the first five or so pages and tend to skip over the posts of people quoting each other.
If it's an interesting topic then I'll read the whole thing, if it's of little interest then I read the first three-ish pages.

If it's longer then 50 posts, I don't bother reading it all. Takes up my valuable time.

I will usually read the first pages replies and maybe a few other pages worth, it all depends.

Other habits, hmm... I used to tend to ignore the report button. I use it now.
Can't really think of anything else...

I usually read a page, not sure exactly how many post that is. If it is an interesting topic I might read 2 or 3 pages, however.

I like to read the original post and then a few scattered responses so I can get the average reaction.

By pages, no more than about 2 pages unless it really is epic, ill push to 3 if I have something to say, then I'll read and see if it has been said or not.

Depends on the length of the thread, for example I read all the posts in this one because of how short it was when I started posting. But if there are 5 or more pages I usually read a few from each page. If there is an even larger amount of pages..say 30, I read the first and last pages. Unless of course there is something particularly interesting that makes the whole thread worth reading.

I try to read everything if I can, but if a discussion has gone on for 5+ pages, I usually just read the first and last, to get an idea of where the thread is going. It also depends on how in-depth the discussion is.
