How often do you change your icon?

I usually change my icon when I find something better then the last, usually relating to a video game or show.

I used to say NEVER, but then I got this sweet animated one from Fanboy.
And now I'm back to never.
Because this one is just too damn good.

If I find something I really like, I'll change it right away. Otherwise I wait until the next thousandth post.

I had an Awesome face at first. But changed it to Harry Tipper due to the large amounts of my first avatar. I just changed to a more cartoony version at 600 posts and probably will change again at 1k.

I did twice, first i haev my current one, then i used paint to add a ninja mask (paintet most if the image black) to pay homage to genre wars, then i changed it back when genre wars died out.

I changed it a lot in the beginning. But I like the one I have now, so I'll probably keep it forever. I agree that it represnets who you are on this board and its kind of nice to keep it consistent so people can recognize you. Though I need a lot more posts before that begins to happen.
