I read online articles alot, but not real good writing.
So I decided to go back into the habit of reading a few weeks ago and have been able to read every day for at least a few hours.
It makes hell of a difference on construction and vocab.

Normal books; used to read them a lot. Still looking for a few to finish my collection of some series (the seem to be impossible to find) But lately that not so much.

School books; as few / little as i can get away with. Even though i am in university now, the economic theory books bore me to death. usually can't get pass the first sentence.

Good to see the Escapists are a fairly literate crowd!

As for me, I usually read every night before nodding off to dreamland.

And since I travel a couple of times a month, I get some done on the plane.

Unless I'm in a middle seat stuck between two really fat people...then I just seethe with rage.

I've always got at least one book on the go. I read in bed before I go to sleep pretty much every night and if I'm not at work I tend to read in the morning.

When I can read as much as I want I would read 2 fiction books a week, plus one chapter a day of nonfiction, and a daily reading from the Bible. My fiction reading can vary a bit depending on other demands on my time, or if for some reason I struggle to get into a book, but when I do I usually finish it in one or two days. Currently reading Star Wars: Scoundrels by Timothy Zahn.

Even though currently, I'm going through a dry spell concerning books. I read alot of books.

If it's a good read, I'll finish it faster than it's healthy to do so. >.>

I'm still waiting for the Mistborn quadrilogy to make it here. :p Then I'll be on a reading binge again. ^_^
It's a quadrilogy? I recently bought a box set and they're sitting on my shelf waiting to be read. I thought the set was fairly new and would have the complete series, has there been a new book published recently?

According to Wikipedia, Mistborn: The Alloy of Law is a sequel to the trilogy.

Set 300 years after the original 3 books. So, it's basically standalone.

Depends, usually maybe 5-10 books a year these past 2-4 years, before that a little more and this year I've already read 3 so it seems the count will rise abit this year.

Have you tried audiobooks? I felt the same way as you (enjoying the stories, but having trouble to read for more than a few pages) until recently. I've been listening to a few audiobooks lately and enjoying them greatly. Personally I tend to play video games (usually one that doesn't take too much focus) while listening to a book and find books quite enjoyable in this fashion.
Haven't tried audio books yet no. Maybe I should try that though yea. I have listened to plenty of youtube channels about science and the like. I love doing that as it educates me while I'm playing games. :p So yea...audio book might be an idea.
