Poll: How often do you use the word "Umm"?

How often have you cought yourself saying umm between every two words? Are you a George W. Bush or some random guy who doesnt ever say "Uhh?"

I fall in between the often-George W. Bush levels

Whenever I am trying to make a point seem obvious.

For some reason I always say it at the beginning of a sentence, my dad laughs at me evreytime I do it.

I use the words Uhh, and um enough times in a month to fill a room up to me knees. Give me a year and you have a warehouse full.

I tend to use erm and hmm, rather than umm.

If I'm talking to friends and I knwo what I'm saying, then never. If I'm trying to remember something, a few times. If I'm talking to a crowd of people then it's like every other word.

I rarely use a variation of it, but when I do I usually go with "ehh..."

Usually it's when someone on the phone asks me to take a message. I say "ehhhh..." while I frantically hunt for a pen.

I have a huge problem with "like" and I hate myself for saying it....
