Before I even knew how to read so about 4 or 5 years old. I remember when I was 4 I forced my parents to read me the dialogue while I was playing Star Fox on the SNES.
I basically grew up with my sisters hand-me-down Atari 2600, NES, SNES and Genesis. Every weekend was a trip to Smith's to go rent another game or two.
I was deeply saddened when I found out that my mother recently gave my entire retro collection away without my knowledge. Sure, I could just get an emulator, but you just cant beat the feeling of a 2-oz piece of plastic in your hands on a shitty 10 channel TV set. Oh well, at least some kid somewhere is enjoying my old collection (I hope).
