If I remember, he wasn't my main childhood doctor. I actually don't remember when this happened, or why I was seeing a different doctor. Though I would totally bring a yard stick and show him just how much I've grown if I got the chance.

Not that he would remember me of course, I don't even remember him after all...
I recently met my old-old-old-old doctor. I only recognised him when he said his name on the phone. We ended up having a coffee together. I like doctors outside the clinic, not so much inside the clinic. They become different people on the outside, so most doctors I find entirely personable on the outside ... but naturally if you're forced to see one your demeanour changes.
It was a refreshing kind of conversation. Utterly candid, but with no stigma and it's like ... 'friendly science', with scones and coffee. So I don't hold much of a grudge either. Well, I don't hold a grudge at all because I wouldn't want to be much taller by choice.

Next question is, how many of the people who answered lied about their heights? Most people do, whether intentional or not.
I'm 6', but my back isn't entirely straight anymore due to years of bad posturing + scoliosis so really I'm about 5'9-ish give or take. Yes you can lose 3 inches from posture issues. But my DL says 6' so thats what I answered, after all I'm not about to dispute a legal document.
You can also lose and inch or two by dehydration also, supposedly. Because the disks in your back absorb water or something, and with limited water, limited disk size. For obvious reasons this is not a recommended course of action for people wanting to be taller or shorter by cutting, or drastically increasing, their body's water content.
