How is 140-160 average? Is that the average for the entire world? The average for males here is 180 or more.

Also, jesus christ, young people are getting tall. Better cut them down now before they take over! :O

I think they might be taking women into account in the average, or maybe it's an average of women.

I'm 162cm and I wear petite sizes, so there's no way 140-160 is average for men and women.

Have to say that I choose above average but in the UK, we still use the Imperial system mainly for height. I am 5 foot, 10 inches., 22 years old.

I am the smallest male member of my family (got my mother's smurf genes unfortuently). Apart from me, the next smallest person is 6 foot, 2 inches, my younger brother. After that, the uncles, cousins, brothers and father all range between 6 foot, 3 inches and 6 foot, 10 inches.

Hard being the runt sometimes but not all is lost, the L theory seems to hold true

5'2" I've always been the shortest every everyone I meet and all my friends, which is odd, because a lot of people are shorter than that.

I got measured the other day on the computer measuring machines, it measured me at 4'11" lol

i think it fluctuates, i was shorter amongst a bunch of my friends who were on average 6'2-6'3, while i was average height amongst the grades below us, but the grade above my brother (who is a freshman) the average is like 6'3, they have two Wide receivers in football who are 6'6 and 6'8...so yeah.

i was never meant to be tall though, my mom was barely scarping 5' even so reaching 5'9 was good enough for me.
