ASCII is for children who have just discovered that binary is used to signify characters. Real computer users use EBCDIC.

No, real computer users use unicode, but that just introduces ludicrous amounts of 0s.

And either way, my point remains valid; octal sucks.

I'm a high level 3, I can do some basic coding in LUA and flash and muck around with files but nothing hugely techy.

I'm a high 3, I hope to become a higher 3. No interest in coding and all my computer knowledge comes from trying to get games to run. I had mad skillz back when I was getting DOS stuff to run in Win95.

I know enough that I don't get myself into trouble while surfing along. I don't know code and my knowledge of hardware is very basic, but all I find myself really needing is logic. Most of all my computer-related problems have been solved by using logic.
