None of the choices should ever be put another, a game with all of them executed well could quite possibly be the best game ever.

While I don't think you can have just one of those and have it be a good game (it definitely takes a combo of more than one) I have to have fun and enjoy the gameplay most of the time- for me, story and other things rarely make up for a lack of good and fun gameplay. And graphics alone never do.
well i understand that i am asking what you think the most importent aspect of a game should be. i mean it doesnt take a genious to figure that out.

I say story because even horrible games with a good story ill play through. I know i'm prob. in the minority but thats cool with me, sign me up for a game with a good story anyday.

It changes, it's like asking what makes a television show good, it depends on what we are watching, or since we're discussing games, playing.
In a FPS I'd say action and gameplay. An RPG storyline and exploration. You should have made it what is better in a certain genre, not over all as there's just too many differences in expectations for each.
