We all know that these acts are nothing but shit (shut up, yes we do) however, is there any validity to the acts. I mean, piracy is a real problem for countries (even if very insignificant), and it probably deserves some level of attention.
To me, the logic of dealing with piracy is all well and good, but why are they seeking to cripple the internet just to save money. In the long run, that would likely cost more then they think they're saving, right? I'm not an economist, but I subscribe to logic when I can.
Correct me if I'm in the wrong, the acts themselves are a tad hazy.
