In about five billion years, our sun, currently being a yellow dwarf, will call it a life and go into red giant mode. What follows after that is pretty much of no concern to us, as the red giant is highly probable to just swallow us whole, some time after all liquid on the planet has boiled up and evaporated. That includes the shrubbery, you, me and the oceans.
Earth will probably look a bit like Mars does now. A shitty and unwelcoming place.
Then again, the sun might also decide to blow up. That would be more of a spectacle to watch, but it would also be absolutely deadly.
If we don't find a way to hop to another planet by then, we're all toast. I doubt we make it that far if we continue with the R&P bullshit.
