I have to decide between pre ordering Assassins Creed: Brotherhood or Fable III. Don't get me wrong, I plan on getting both of them, I just don't know which one to pre order. Any helpful insights and/or opinions?
alternatively,is there another game coming out that i should go with that isn't one of the above?

With most games nowadays, when you preorder you get special 'bonus' items to download.

Have you compared the possible items you may or may not get? If not, you might want to see what sorts of offers are available

... I'm sorry...<.<

OT: I think you should get Deus Ex Human Revolution... why? because it's the only game that even slightly interests me coming out in the next year or so...

Why would you choose Fable III? Have the first two games taught you nothing?

Go with Assassin's Creed.

I would choose Fable 3 because I loved the previous two but it's up to you, mate. Just go with the game you think you will enjoy more.

Why would you go with Assassin's Creed? Have the first two games taught you nothing? Humm.We seem to be at an impasse.

Seriously though both games are pretty much carbon copies of their predecessors, and ironing out horrible time-wasting mechanics that shouldn't have been their in the first places does NOT count as "improving the game" just fixing it.

If Fable 3 were out for the PC, I'd get it in a heartbeat. I liked the first one. Never got a chance to play the second since it only came out for the console. I don't know why Fable's company hates money so. I'd gladly give them mine for a PC version.

"Carbon copy" my ass. Assassin's Creed 2 removed all of those boring repetitive missions of the first one and added lots of diverse levels. I can't speak for Fable, but I assume it improved itself some what.

Riiight. All that changed in Assassins creed 2 was that instead of running from the rich to poor quarter on the map, if that the rich and poor quarters were different cities and you could fast travel to them. You didnt even need to do those side quests for the most part. Apart from stripping a few quests and making the world seem bigger by creating zones with fast travel they are nearly identical. Fable changed far less, if I'm going to be honest.

The difference is, the first AC was a letdown, and the sequel learned from that, humbled itself, and improved the experience.

Fable was a letdown, the sequel was hyped even more than the first one, and the game ended up being EVEN MORE of a crash-&-burn affair.

I blame Molyneux's ego.

If thats true every season of Bleach is the same. Ichigo encounters a new enemy gets his ass kicked, trains, kicks there ass. The only thing that changes is the enemies and a few characters are added or are taken away.

Except that Ezio never got an awesome black coat, a killer mask, and died, only to come back and learn to draw energy from another dimension, which could potentially kill him, in order to get revenge. You know what Ezio did to get revenge? Exactly the same thing Altair did to get revenge -.-

Yeah. Altair also got into a fist fight with the pope, only to let him go realizing that revenge is pointless.
And Ezio will almost die and come back for revenge against the Templars with a bunch of new Assassins in tow, along with a whole bunch of new weapons and features to help him in Brotherhood.

Yeah....Im not going to hold my breath on that one. The other assassins will be clunky AI that otherwise serve on purpose or plot drivers only. The new weapons will be A BRAND NEW SKIN FOR ALTAIRS SWORD!!!! They added the wrist pistol but I can safely shelf that as a gimic, using it is cheap, its pointless in actually fights due to the tarded aim time and it trivialises missions that could have been interesting and challenging. As for new features....Well see.

WTB an Assassin's Creed mission where the assassin's final objective ISNT running away from hordes of guards because the only physical way to kill the mark was in front of 50 people. Its fine to need high profile kills for some missions. But some actual stealth kills in an assassination game would be nice.

Hitman will always be assassins creed, but good, and I doubt it will ever break that unfortunate comparison.

You could kill people very stealthily in some occasions, and getting near high ranking goverment officials is much harder than approaching crime bosses in Hitman. Besides those two games should not be compared as they are much different in both concept and execution.

Im pretty sure there is no problem in Assassins Creed that can be solved by running in with a sword. Though they have "sort of" removed the immortal block-counter move, though instead of actually fixing it they just added enemies that cant be countered/blocked. That was a right cop out.
