Poll: I could use some help.

So I am considering getting Dragon Age but I am unsure which version to get. According to gamespot the PC version is better but I am not exactly confident of my laptops ability to play the game. My specs are as follows:

HP pavilion dv4 notebook PC
Processor: AMD Turion II Dual core mobile M520 2.30 GHz
RAM: 4GB (3.7 usable)
OS: Windows 7 home Premium
Graphics chipset: AMD M880G with ATI mobility Radeon HD 4200 with 1.9 gigs of video ram
Hard Drive Space: 123 free gb

SystemRequirementslab claims that I can run it but that I am a little short of recommended reqs while YouGame didn't recognize my video card and so could not accurately run the test. SRL claimed that my computer should be able to run BFBC2 about as well as MW2 but that was not the case. MW2 runs on my system like melted butter while BC2 will slow down whenever something explodes and generally runs poorly. What I really want to know is how will it run on my system? Is the PC version really any better than the console version? What are your thoughts on Dragon Age? Any help would be great.

So I should go with the 360 version? That's a shame because the PC controls look better and its ten bucks cheaper.

It does seem that the 360 may be your best bet for a trouble-free game.

Mobile processors run games just about as well as a cut-down desktop processor (e.g. Celeron or Duron), which is absolutely terribly. This is due to having lower amounts of cache available to the processor, (which is a games bread and butter) along with a slower onbaord chipset (North/Southbridge) for all the critical bits to communicate across.

The RAM onboard your lappy is clocked at a slower rate than that of a desktop counterpart, and the mobile video card is cutdown for low power operation as well, which means a lowered core and onboard memory clock.

To put it shortly, yours isn't powered to play games. It is for operating large amounts of desktop software on the go for as long as possible. Use a desktop.

I was afraid of that. I really do like that zoom out feature I see in the PC gameplay videos. At least we still have bacon in all its awesomeness.

I figured as much. Sadly I do not have the cash on hand at the moment to head out and pick up a desktop so I'll just get around to buying the console version. No big loss really.
