Whens it come out? I'm getting it, I assumed it was coming much later in the year.V8 Ninja said:Am I allowed to make a vote for Portal 2? Because that's what I would vote for.
It's coming out on April 18th for US residents. The Australian releases and European releases will follow shortly after (like, less-than-a-week later). If you want my honest opinion, I would say Mass Effect 2.Snowalker said:Whens it come out? I'm intrigued by your logic here. Mass effect 2 has more lasting power, yet has non-changing content. LBP 2 will fade into obscurity, whilst the first didn't. And the fact that no one will add any content to the servers once the the third is out, true, but no one will seriously still be playing Mass Effect 2 once the third comes out aswell. Maybe I just am more hardcore then you (not intended to be offensive), but me and some people I know did play ME 1 after ME 2 came out because we wanted to see how the different choices affected game play in the second and since the third will do the same thing I think it would be fun to go back and play the second again and see how my choices tweak what happens in the third. Plus and this is solely personal preference, a game that consists of a bunch of mini games like the Little Big Plant series has never been able to hold my interest for long. I like a good story well told with good game mechanics and that is what Bioware put into the Mass Effect series. For my a good story is something that adds a ton of replay value while the mini games just start to feel the same.Snowalker said:I'm intrigued by your logic here. So... care to elaborate a bit?
while your a fan of both, i would say lbp2, its better to enjoy a full new game like that, especially when you enjoyed the first one, then pick up me2 later (did you say you were building a pc? i thought i might have seen that in a post somewhere, so if you do just get it on pc later for much cheaper) or if you get it for ps3 it'll help to get it closer to mass effect 3 so you can have it in your recent memory.Snowalker said:I have enough money to buy one game, and no more so, please, no "Both."
I am a big fan of Mass Effect, and a big Sony fan. Having played Mass Effect one my now bunk Xbox, I was playing through two when it died, I beat it once, and was going through my second play through. I am also a big Little Big Planet fan, and was really excited when I heard about the sequel. I know most of you are saying, "Well, if you beat mass effect two, gt LBP2." Heres the thing, I will get Mass effect 3, and not being able to carry over my own character will piss me the fuck off, so should I get and enjoy Mass effect 2 ensuring that I will have my own character in Mass Effect 3, or should I get LBP2 and enjoy it for a year like I enjoyed the last.
not trying to sound like a dick, but I kinda doubr it... thefirst LBP had HUNDREDS of stickers and costume items to find in the campaign... and that was JUST single player, ot counting DLC levels, the level creation, or any of the 3 million plus user created levels (all of which are playable in LBP2)crudus said:From what I hear Mass Effect 2 has more replay value than Little Big Planet 2. I have never played the latter so this is just what I hear from friends.
That was the previous release date. Google just picked up the closest date signatures from its three resources, came to a conclusion, and pasted the conclusion on the search. Looks like Google is gonna need to fix that.Snowalker said:V8 Ninja said:It's coming out on April 18th for US residents.
Umm, Google says February 9th..
Damn you, (Not Seriously) I have decide between the three.... Probably get Portal 2, since it is two games after all (PC + PS3)V8 Ninja said:That was the previous release date.
