I have this blend of sugars and coffee that I drink to wake me up. I have 1 part instant coffee, 2 parts hot chocolate power, 2 parts honey, 5 parts hot water and fill the rest of the glass up with milk. Does anyone else have preferences for home-brewed pep drinks? (tea included, but no alcohol)

*TWITCH* YES *SPASM* MORE *YERK* COFFEE!!!

I drink too much coffee I think. Some days I drink about five cups, at others maybe about 8. I don't have any specific homebrew concoction, but sometimes I put some cinnamon in my coffee, occasionally mixed with a tiny little bit of sugar. But 99% of the time just black coffee, no sugar.

I like my heart, sorry. It's quite happy with me. I drink a lot of water, I eat fruit... it's a bit miffed about the lack of exercise, but other than that.

So, I don't touch coffee.

Actually, there's a lot of research that supports the theory that caffeine is very beneficial for you. See http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn14151-guzzling-coffee-may-cut-heart-disease.html.

I'm gonna say it anyway... I'm learning to brew my own beer.... my first batch was quite interesting....

Caffeine is fine and good.... but I haven't reached the point where I rely on it to function.

Haven't you ever listened to people order their coffee at a Starbucks? it's like a foreign language.

lol i selected top option. I am only 15 and i have gotten to the point that i don't have a coffee in the morning and i am either tired all day or my thought processes are no where near as intricate. Put simply, i cannot function awesomely without it. If there is such thing as addiction to it, i am addicted. Doesn't seem to affect my health at all. Plus, i may have to drink so much cause i don't sleep. And before you say it, i don't sleep cause i dont. I never have, and it's nuttin to do with the coffee i drink.

I may just have liquid cynicism (Ristretto shots) running through my veins instead of blood. Rumour would have so at least.

No wonder I do so well at FPS.

First option, and I actually do enjoy caffiene jitters. to much coffee does impair my slepp though and make me tired in the long term, also if a go two days without I get headaches.

One part is like a ratio: 1 part A and 2 parts B becomes 1:2.

I'm fine with caffeine, but I hate coffee...what option do I choose!? I don't want to mistakenly display my support for coffee!

Don't really make my own caffeine things though, tea is relatively weak so I don't count it. But red bull and the like have saved me many times during morning lectures

Hear, hear. The first time I had cold coffee was in South Korea in 2001 (don't ask) and the question immediately raised was "Why the hell isn't this everywhere in the US?"
Sadly, all I have in my fridge at present is Dew.
