Though I wouldn't see an issue with it in most areas... expect for highly religious areas where they say abortion is murder. then they might try to label people who do this as cannibals. but''d be like drinking milk it's a byproduct of the body that the one the made it doesn't need to function fully or had nerves connecting it to the brain.(before someone says eating flesh,skin or organs and etc.)

Not sure that's a requirement. I'm pretty sure I would still be labeled as a cannibal if I ate somebody's amputated arm, so I don't see why classifying the consumption of human eggs as cannibalism would be dependent on a person's view of abortion :/

Edited: I wasn't saying it was a guarantee,just that I was trying to say that if eating "human eggs" was considered okay that by most people's standards that their might be a portion of people who might consider it cannibalism or otherwise a bad thing to do.

Exactly, it would be the same thing as eating a regular egg, there isn't an undeveloped baby-esque entity floating around in it waiting to plop down on your plate when you crack the egg open, it'll just be (I assume) the proteins and similar things in a liquid form (and, well, half the females dna, though you probably won't be able to see it).

It's hard to say just how people would react because, for one, laying eggs would be completely normal since females would have been doing to for millenia, unless the OP meant women started laying eggs tomorrow or something. That said, most adults don't drink breast milk, because "Ewwww, bodily fluids", and pretty much anything that comes out of a human body is looked at as gross by society.

It would be interesting to see how our culture would be different, however... I mean, if you thought families were big back before the industrial revolution, you'll have a heart attack if you imagine having a baby every month (which I would think would inevitably lead to us being okay with destroying the eggs, because otherwise the population (or just the family itself) would grow beyond our ability to feed it).

TLDR: Not really sure but leaning towards "probably okay".

I would be completely fine with it, in fact I'd probably prefer it as it's bigger than a chicken egg and therefore more filling. I don't really see any issue as (a) it's tasty food and (b) it's not even a fertilised egg, if you reject it because it has the potential for life, you might as well shun women every month.

Also I would start creating a free-range human farm, advertise the hell out of it, and corner the market.

The OP asked if you would eat an unfertilized human egg (i.e. not much different than a the chicken eggs people eat on a daily basis).

Like many other things, this may be more of an issue with the law than with whether or not there is a market for it. There is certainly a market for it, since at least a few cases every year arise of someone packaging or selling breast milk or their products (ice cream, etc).

I've gleaned this bit from that article, too, which I find fascinating:

When there is milk available some milk banks will distribute it to adults who are immuno-compromised. Preliminary research indicates that breast milk can have nutritive, immunologic and palliative effects for cancer patients (Radetsky, 1999). Adults with GI disorders and organ donation recipients can also benefit from the immunologic powers of breast milk. More research is needed in these areas.

Plus, we also didn't drink cow's milk until fairly recently in human history, either. And like breast milk, there is some extensive regulation in the US regarding cow's milk, to the extent that there have been numerous raids on sellers of raw milk, because reasons.

Honestly, and I'm sure a fair portion of others would agree, I don't even have a problem with human breast milk. I'm sure many a husband has had a taste of his wife's breast milk out of sheer curiosity.

Hmm. Excellent question. I suppose it would vary from person to person and be based on their own metabolism and diet. And yes if someone regularly ingested caramel and peanuts the Oh Henry could be a possibility.

Kind of off topic but I haven't had an Oh Henry candy bar since the early 1980s. Are they still being made and can they be purchased outside the US?

Well, if people could get good chocolate that suited their tastes from a butt they probably would, I mean, most chocolate bars look like logs of crap anyway. Actually it would probably take the place of fat as the bodies way of energy storage. And as long as it didn't have any sort of unpleasant aftertaste I would probably eat it too, I mean it is free chocolate.

Considering that humans do not do this it definitely seems like it would be very awkward thing to do and would probably be considered taboo. However, in a world where humans did lay eggs I imagine it would be common practice for people to eat unfertilized eggs. I doubt it would be considered cannibalism in most cultures so long as the egg wasn't fertilized so I wouldn't see the problem with it. Although, because we don't live in such a world, it really is hard to say exactly how we would view it.

Honestly, since people sell their milk and others drink it (and not just babies) I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest.
