If the planet explodes Aldaraan style, with no chunks left and near complete disintigration, then there is nothing to do. Now if the planet cracked open and broke up Advent Rising style, then the only thing left to do is shoot myself because none of those chunks could hold an atmosphere and I don't want decompression to be the way I die.

Well Personally I suggest the World be destroyed by Azethoth, the Great Old one who brings about terror, destruction and death in his wake. He is the Epitome of all CHAOS!!!

So I would enjoy the insane chaos for the few moments I'm alive and laugh maniacally as all of Mankind is obliterated by this creature...

This question reminds me of a recurring dream I have in which I am an astronaut conducting research on the moon in the hopes of colonizing it. The dream always ends with me looking up just in time to see the earth explode in a fiery mess.
