I finished all my Single player games at the moment and I'm torn between buying Pain Killer or Beyond Good and Evil, I've played a little bit of pain killer before and loved it (love most frantic over the top shooters, see Serious Sam) but i've heard many good things about beyond good and evil, so I'm not sure which I'd like better Help? ... Or anyone have another suggestion that I may like?

Edit: please comment your recommendation if you vote other.

Edit again: when making suggestions, look at the games i am currently looking at and suggest something similar, neither of these games are MMOs or Strategy games etc, so please think a little harder when making suggestions.

PainKiller is an exceptional shooter, but beyond good and evil is a great game that should be played by everyone.

Aren't they different types of games? Go with whichever genre you like the most.
They are 2 different genres of games, but I like both, therein lies the problem.

Wait a few days and get dead rising 2?

I just pre-ordered mine, I think it is out in about 6 days.

It depends, do you want a gun that shoots shuriken and lightning . . .
or the AWESOMEST GAME EVAR!

Kidding I haven't played either. Though shurikens and lightning sounds kind of fun.

Yeah not really keen on dead rising, never played the first so I'm pretty indifferent to this sequel.

Hahahahahahahaha... oh sorry you were serious?

Should have mentioned PC only, kind of thought that the games mentioned in the OP suggested PC only.

Fallout 3?

I don't know, not a PC guy, I didn't pay attention. Also, Reach was pretty good, check it out if you get an oppurtunity (Best single player of an FPS since Bioshock, IMO)

How does not playing the first effect your opinion on the second, I never had an xbox so I couldn't play the first but I am definitely getting the second.

Just looks like really good fun, putting lego heads on zombies and stuff.

Beyond Good and Evil was a fantastic game where as Painkiller was good with less replay value

Global Agenda has a free trial at the moment, try it out. They've also removed their subscription, should you decide to buy the game.

Civilization Five is pc only and will be released in 3 days, that should keep you busy for quite awhile. You can play the demo first [it comes out on the same day as the release] and then decide whether to buy it or not.

Also, hooray another pc gamer, good to always see more of them. :)

May I suggest Amnesia the Dark Decent? Or Vampire the Masqurade?
