So just curious, b/c I was in an interview the other day and my potential employer asked me an interesting Q that apparently has some bearing on my personality traits... One of my friends explained it to me later, but thought I would ask the rest of you... Would you rather be able to fly, or be invisible?

Seems like if you pick invisible that the employer would think you'd steal, so if asked during an interview, I'd go with flight.

Odd question. I hope this company pays more than minimum wage.

But I agree John Galt. To say 'invisible' gives a subliminal message to your employer that you want to be under the radar, not to be picked out in a crowd, not to take responsibility for things...I.E. stay hidden from corporate decisions.

Whereas flight says you want to 'soar', stand out, be noticed...all that B.S.

I would have been witty and fired back:

"Post M-Day or Pre Registartion Act era?" just to mess with them.

Flying has many less negative aspects, I have yet to see anyone write an entire book about how flying turned them into an insane anarchic prick [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Invisible_Man].

Excellently said, Anarchemitis.

I'd go with flying, as well, because I'd enjoy it more than invisibility, to be honest....

Yeah, I'm doing starting highschool applications this year, and apparently 'If you could have one Superpower, what would it be' is a popular one.

I swear to God that if I ever run a Highschool, our applications will have questions like 'Would you eat Moldy Blue Cheese or Moldy Green Cheese' just to screw with people.

I would say invisible, because a person who is going to steal things would lie and say flight so they wouldn't give away their thievish intentions.

I probably wouldn't get the job, though.

I'm going to say fly because if I ever met someone who could turn invisible, I would call the cops or carry them up into the air and drop them. It would just be too disturbing knowing someone could be in the room at any time.

Invisible.

So you can fly, big deal. Invisibility is better.
My fear with invisibility is a lot of people who want it usually want it to do pervy things (don't pretend you don't know what I'm talking about!).
You could use flying the same way... Skylights are awesome lol and hovering in a room?

You should ask him "whn you say fly, do you mean flap my arms or can I hover?"

.....But, how would you see to tie your shoelaces or trim your nails if you were invisible?

Never mind......Oh, and let me be the first to say, "Welcome to the Escapist, naftali1."

Nobody said I am permanently invisible.

And thanks
