I thought it was allright whilst it lasted however it does not need a re-run or dare I say it, another series.

I would love to see Zim return, but Vasquez has made it clear that he would not come back to it.

Course, I would much rather see an animated Johnny the Homicidal Maniac.. that stuff was great.

Also, for those who felt it was a dumb show.. did you ever really watch it with an understanding of satire? The show was all about poking fun at society, assumptions about 'advanced' alien races, and science!

Oh well.. way ahead of its time, and really not intended for the younger masses.

Tbh I think you're looking a little too deep into it. It really wasn't that great of a satire if it was intended to be that. I do agree that some Johnny the Homicidal Maniac would be nice.

No the only reason its not on anymore is because Vasquez specifically did NOT want to continue the show. If the creator of the fucking show doesn't want to make it anymore than stop forcing it.

Nick executives wanted an animated show that was "dark and edgy" to entice older viewers. So they got the writer and artist from Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, to do it for them. When they got what they wanted they decided it was too scary (again they were surprised that the guy who did a comic series called Johnny the Homicidal Maniac made a show that scared small children)

It was a great show and indeed there should be more shows like it, but since the creator doesn't want to continue it's best maybe to let this one sleep. Now if Roman Dirge and Vasquez were to team up and make something for us older kids and put it on the right medium, that I could definitely get behind.

Ugg... Ok. I watched the show when I was younger, and it was funny, but it had these glaring flaws that made me feel uncomfortable watching it. For example, all the other humans (besides Dib) were filthy, unintelligent slobs. It was insulting!

That, and after every show, it made me feel like taking a shower... particularly that germ one... *shivers* >.<

In it's own right, Invader Zim was a very unique show right down to it's characters. However I feel that there is enough fanfiction attempting to emulate the show (albeit very poorly) and most of the jokes we got as children were GIR's incessant ramblings.

YES Invader ZiM was a masterpiece and there were only acouple of episodes missing then it would have reached it's finale unfortunatley that never happened
I wouldn't care which channel it'd be on aslong as it's not Nick, those pricks would just cancel it again

Yes i want it back on on adult swim instead of them putting fucking "king of the hill" on. god i hate that show. i like alot of the anime but they need more stuff like invader zim, ATHF, Metalocalypse, etc. stuff like that.even family guy and american dad is okay but no king of the hill... anyways. invader zim should be on adult swim.

Yea, I'd love Invader Zim on Adult Swim, but darker...if that's possible. No gore though since that would ruin the show. Just keep it the way it was, exactly the way it was. I think Invader Zim is a show that people of all ages can enjoy. There's things in it that appeal to kids and there's things that appeal to adults. So yea, I say put it on Adult Swim, but don't mutilate it or mess it up by adding gore and horrible jokes.

I think the show would be better if it was not on a kids channel because more teenage stuff is were the shows creater really shines.
